Beginner Photographer

I have always loved photography. I got my first camera when I was 14 years old. Ever since then I loved taking pictures and capturing memories. As I got older (I am 31 now), I practiced this craft. I am now on my 4th camera. Yeah, I know 4 cameras within 17 years may not be enough for a photographer. Hopefully I will get a newer one soon (hint, hint to my husband). Just recently I have decided I want to try and make a business out of it. I know there are so many photographers all over the world and I want to join them in this business of capturing memories for people.

In this post I just want to share a few pictures I have taken over the years and more recently. You will see I LOVE outdoor pictures. The lighting is so much better for outdoor pictures! I have been trying my hand at indoor photography, but I do not have a studio. I hope to one day have a room dedicated to doing indoor photography in. I hope you enjoy looking at the pictures. If you do enjoy the pictures please go to www.facebook.com/JessicaL.MartinPhotography and give my page a like and feel free to share as well!

I tried my hand at some indoor pictures of my friend's baby girl.
Again, I hope you enjoyed these! Let me know what you think!

I took this back in 2008 of the cross on my college campus. It means so much to me because of my faith and what my blog is ultimately about.

  1. BABY PHOTOS- squeeee! I love them as well as your other work. I hope your husband takes the hint and gets you the camera of your dreams (again and again and again)! Keep up the great work and I can't wait to follow your photo-journey!

  2. Sorry I had to remove my previous comment because I wanted to write that you have a crisp photography skill instead it became crap thanks to typo.
    I will start again.

I liked reading your experience of photography and all the best to your husband regarding your 4th camera.. 😂😂
I liked the fact that you used watermark on your photos. I will suggest you put it in the middle of your pictures like the one you did on your friend's photo.

Hope too see you again soon.
