Bible Verse Of The Day

This is the section of my blog in which I will post a verse of the day. Check back everyday for a new verse!

"Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." -Hebrews 11:1

I wrote several posts about our moving journey. This verse was one of many that helped me on that journey. It even helped me when my husband was still looking for a teaching job. We had to trust God, fully and completely trust Him. We had faith that God would bring my husband a teaching opportunity and sure enough God came through at the end of August. We had to have faith that God would provide us with housing closer to his job so we wouldn't have to be apart for very long. Within 2 months we found a house to live in and we made a big move. While it was hard for us to see the clear picture of what our future held and while at times it was hard to keep the faith, we kept the faith.

I don't know what you are going through right now. I hope this was an encouragement for you to keep the faith. Remember, God does have a plan. He is walking with you on whatever journey you are on, whether it is grief, cancer, divorce, depression. You may not be able to see it now, but if you keep the faith, God does and always will come through. I am praying for you friend. I pray this verse is an encouragement to you today.
