Don't Give Up

Giving up when things get rough and ugly is easy to do. It is easy to give up when you can't fix something or someone. It is easy to give up when plans don't go our way. It is easy to give up when you can't see immediate results of changes. It is easy to give up when you are tired of everything is going wrong. It is easy to give up when you are just plain tired. It is easy to give up on God when He does things in our life we don't like.

Where does giving up get us? It doesn't get us anywhere. I'm my 28 years of life I have learned that lesson. Giving up allows us to just become stuck or it allows us to just settle and say, "it is what it is".

What are you wanting to give up on or throw in the towel? Whatever it may be, God doesn't want us to give up. Luke 18:1, "Always pray and never give up". God wants us to stand firm and not let Satan tell us that giving up is easier. God doesn't want us to be shaken.

God doesn't ever give up on us. Why should we give up on people or situations in our lives? Why should we give up on God? God is patient with is and asks that we be patient for Him to work out whatever may be going on in our lives.

Don't say, "I give up", instead say, "I will keep going and not give up".
