O Praise The Name

In church on Sunday, we sang a very moving song, 'O Praise The Name' by Hillsong Worship. Here is a link to where you can listen to the song if you don't know it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LqBpifDpNKc. I encourage you to listen to it. There are some lyrics below from the song.

I was very moved by this song. The whole time I was singing this song, I realized that whatever troubles may come our way, they don't compare to what is waiting for us at the end. The end for me (and I pray for everyone as well) is being able to see Jesus come back and take us Heaven. That great news puts all troubles at ease, for me anyway. Knowing that I will be able to worship Him forever when I'm home with Jesus takes my breath away and puts a new perspective on things that happen in this life.

I really can only imagine what Heaven will be like when we are all there praising Jesus. We won't even think of what happened here on earth because we will be so consumed with worship and in awe of the glory of Jesus.

I don't know about you, but I know for me that sounds so wonderful! I don't want to rush life here on earth because I have so more to do here for God. There are some days when trouble in the world is too much that all I want is to be in Heaven where it is safe from violence, hate, and other problems we see in the world. When I see the troubles in the world or experience personal troubles, I pray a lot. I go to God because He is where I find my hope. He is the ultimate comforter when I feel scared or afraid. He is who my faith is in.

This song is so powerful. It reminds me about my eternal future, while helping me get my mind off of the things of this world. I hope you listened to it and felt the same way I did. The song reassures me of my faith and hope in God and how great He is! He sent His son for us and His son will return. I am so thankful for that future!

Would love for my readers to answer these questions:
When you see the scary things of this world, what do you do?
When you see troubles in this world, how do you combat the trouble and show love?

Like I said, I pray. I put all my faith and hope in God. I do my best to spread God's love everywhere I go.

  1. I'm always reminded of a quote that when you see the scary things in the world you should look for the helpers, those running towards the danger with no thought for themselves to help, that makes me feel better
