God Will Never Leave You

I have written how God has a plan for our lives. There are times it is hard to see the plan but once you see the big picture, you know that God was with you every step of the way. Two college friends of mine just had a miracle baby. You can follow their story by joining their group for their baby girl: https://www.facebook.com/groups/421507144715198/?ref=groups. Their miracle baby was not supposed to be alive according to science. God worked a miracle and through their miracle baby, you can see that God will never leave us. God is always with us through the high moments of life and through the low moments of life.

I always need to remember that God will never leave my side. Their story has been very healing for me. There have been moments from my own family's experiences where it has been hard to remember that God is with us and that God has a plan.
I know the above verse is always the verse that people spit out to every one who doesn't understand what God's plan is. The footnote in my Bible described this verse in a way I never thought before. The footnote said, "The Lord has not forgotten his people. God is the ultimate source of both prosperity and disaster." For God to have a plan for both the prosperous times and disastrous times must mean that God is a BIG God and that God is a GOOD God!

Psalm 27:14 gives us the reminder to be patient and wait for the Lord to work his plan in our lives. We may wait one day, one week, one month, or one decade, but no matter how long we wait, God will be with us.

Right now, my husband and I are waiting for him to find a job. I know it doesn't compare to what anyone else is going through but it is still a piece of our story where we have to trust that God is with us and that God has a plan.

I don't know what is going on in your life but I hope this blog helped reminded you that God is with you through everything.

My husband and I will wait for the Lord with faith, hope, and love.

  7. Feel so refreshed visiting here today! And am encouraged by the footnote you shared. God is always with us no matter what the 'plans' turn out look like.
